The Taylor Swift-Miley Cyrus feud took on new ‘blacker’ shades as Miley Cyrus dissed the ‘Bad Blood’ singer through a video that mocked the ‘Walking Dead’ theme.
This happened during Cyrus’ stint as a host at the ‘Saturday Night Live’ show on October 3.
Miley Cyrus, the ‘I’ll always remember you’ singer, is known to be very open to criticizing Taylor Swift. So most people were expecting a prank or a joke on Swift when Cyrus took the stage to play host at the SNL show on October 3 and they were certainly not disappointed as a video mocking Swift was played.
The ‘mocking’ video showed two high school girls involved in a car accident and when they wake up, they find that the entire world has joined Taylor Swift’s squad. Although Miley Cyrus herself did not feature in the video, Hollywood Life reported that Swift clearly believed that the 22-year-old singer was definitely behind the dissing video.
Taylor intends to get back, though cleverly, during her next stint as the host of the SNL show, added Hollywood Life. This is despite the fact that there is no official announcement regarding Swift playing host to the SNL show anytime soon.
In an interview with New York Times in August, the ‘Wrecking Ball’ singer had said, ‘I’m not trying to be in the squad. None of my friends are famous and not because of any other reason than I just like real people who are living real lives, as I’m inspired by them’.
The famous feud between the two celebrity singers appears to have started in July when Miley Cyrus posted a photograph of Justin Bieber and Taylor Swift with their faces interchanged. Additionally, Cyrus also censored Taylor Swift’s ‘Bad Blood’ in Marie Claire’s September issue.
Nicki Minaj, the ‘Anaconda’ singer, and Cyrus are also involved in a feud. Minaj had spoken disrespectfully about Cyrus during the MTV Video Music Awards function held in August. After this incident, Minaj and Swift, who were also involved in a feud with each other till then, seemed to have made peace, perhaps, against a common enemy.
A source reportedly said to Hollywood Life, ‘Taylor doesn’t want to pick sides, but she does support Nicki 100 percent. She doesn’t think that Nicki was bullying Miley. The whole opinion, according to Taylor Swfit, has been blown out of proportion’.
