Blue States Rake In Even More Education Cash from Obama

Ten of the eleven just happened to go for the president in the last election. What are the odds?

Anyone who, with a straight face, still claims the mainstream media isn’t dominated by hard, agenda driven leftists is obviously a “Liberal Bias Denier.”

President Obama has been in the White House for nearly two years. The Democrats have controlled both houses of congress for the last four years. How much longer will the Democrats continue to blame every problem in the world, large and small, on a man who last ran for office in 2004?

It may be all over soon. British Petroleum has begun testing to see if a procedure term “static kill” and be used to seal the leak a mile below the surface of the Gulf of Mexico permanently.

Elena Kagan will be confirmed this week as a Justice of the Supreme Court… Memo to Democrats: enjoy it while you can.

Former Gov. Howard Dean was in rare form on Fox News Sunday. Before his bizarre meltdown on national television in 2004 he was the front runner for the Democratic nominee for president. He has been known for saying many outrageous things in his career on Sunday he moved the bar.

No one should be surprised. When the Democrat’s newest senator, Carte Goodwin (D-WV) arrived in Washington this week he had already made his position clear. He is from a coal producing state and he had no intention of voting for any climate bill that would cost his state jobs. Period.

This is one of those silly food fights that breakout in Washington with jarring regularity. Both sides want to see unemployment benefits extended. The Democrats want to put the cost on their MasterCard and leave it for the next generation to payoff. The Republicans want to use some of the billions in unspent stimulus funds instead of adding to the national debt.

On Thursday, Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-AL) said “a filibuster is not off the table” with regards to Pres. Obama’s Supreme Court nominee, Elena Kagan. We have to hope he was only kidding or was simply trying to pump up his red meat base. If he was serious, he needs to go back to primary school and learn how to count to 60.

UPDATE: Governor Manchin has announced that Carte Goodwin will be appointed to fill the late Sen Robert Byrd’s seat until a special election can be held this November.
