The supermini crossover is the most preferred model among buyers and auto manufacturers.
The Audi Q2 crossover further expands the segment. Official specifications and pricing of the new models were announced recently.
The first to make this segment popular was the Nissan Juke. The car witnessed some amazing sales which encouraged other manufacturers to take the route. The new Q2 is the smallest car in the Q series. The base model of the car is priced at £20,230 in the United Kingdom. It is the SE trimline variant which uses a 1.0-liter TFSI petrol engine and is mated to a six speed manual gearbox. A couple of features are included in the base model. Audi’s proprietary MMI multimedia infotainment system is part of the Q2 crossover apart from heated, adjustable mirrors and 16-inch alloy wheels.
The next in the line is the Audi Q2 Crossover Sport trim line which is priced £1,550 higher than the SE variant. For the additional cost, it includes bigger 17-inch alloy wheels, has cruise control, sports seats, automatic lights, wipers and fully adjustable driving modes. S line further expands the options available for £2,250. The distinct price increase also provides your car with 18-inch alloy wheels, LED lights for both front and rear, while the interior inlays feature a brushed aluminum finish.
Audi Q2 Crossover has its range topping model powered by a 2.0-liter TDI engine which also boasts of a Quattro all-wheel drive system. The next generation edition of the crossover uses a C-pillar with a floating blade design to impress young buyers. Apart from the sporty finish, the car is offered with a variety of colorful trims to choose from giving one the opportunity to customize the model as they please.
The company has also planned to lure Audi customers into buying the Q2 supermini crossover by offering familiar powertrain and performance. Longtime users of the brand will find very little differences between the new models and the original Audi they are used to. This will help the auto brand reach newer audience as well as convince existing buyers to adopt their new launches. Compared to the Audi A1 and the A3, the Q3 is much smaller in size but has enough legroom for all the passengers.
There are twelve different color choices and different cloth materials to pick for the upholstery. Every feature including the Bang & Olufsen stereo system, smartphone connectivity and the striking design is geared towards pulling young customers into the Audi ecosystem.
