AG Eric Holder’s Strange Idea of How to Enforce Illegal Immigration Laws

Okay, let me be sure I have this straight. Attorney General Eric Holder is suing Arizona for enforcing our laws against illegal immigration while giving a wink and nod to “Sanctuary Cities” which refuse to cooperate in any way with the feds. To a layman like me that seems like the AG is arresting the police while giving the people who drive the getaway car a free pass.

Eric Holder certainly has an interesting concept of what is and isn’t good law enforcement. This is the same guy who cut loose a couple of “New Black Panthers” after they were convicted of intimidating voters in Philadelphia. This is the guy who insisted the “Christmas Bomber” be read his Miranda Rights instead of being questioned. AG Holder, instead of letting the military deal with Khalid Sheik Mohammed, the architect of 9/11, wants the terrorist brought to New York for a show trial.
When quizzed about the Arizona immigration law by a congressional committee, AG Holder admitted he had not read it. Unlike the 2,000 pages of the heath care reform bill, the Arizona law is less than 20 pages. But, ignorance of the law is no excuse… for not heading over to Federal Court.
Under Holder the Attorney General’s office has turned in to an Orwellian “Animal Farm” where “All animals are equal but some animals are more equal than others.” In an embarrassing episode for AG Holder, in front of the Civil Rights Commission a few weeks ago, a former attorney in the Civil Rights Division stated flatly under oath that it was the policy of the United States Justice Department under Eric Holder to not prosecute any cases where Blacks were the defendants and Whites the victims. For months AG Holder has stonewalled the Civil Rights Commission and ordered his department to ignore their subpoenas to testify.
Who would have thought the last AG picked by a Democratic president, Janet Reno, would have even have been the “good old days” for fair and equal treatment under the law? To the current cast of political appointees and hacks working under Attorney General Eric Holder, clearly some are “more equal than others.”

Everything in your article is 100% correct. It’s great to see people point out the blatant hypocrisy and political pandering going on by this joke of an AG. I voted for the mess in the white house. I will not make that mistake again.
Holder’s idea is not all bad. Just pick the cities in ND, SD, MT, etc.

I’m baffled why he would file suit without first indicating that the federal government would at least start talks about what federal policy would be enforced or implemented. We contributed to Arizona’s defense fund and are planning this summer’s vacation in Arizona in contrast to the idiots on the LA County Board of Supervisors who advocated boycotting Arizona.
