2017 Jaguar XE with Manual Transmission Coming to the U.S.

Manual transmission is slowly becoming a myth, especially in the high end luxury vehicle segment, where drivers love to focus on the speed than the gears, but the 2017 Jaguar XE is not going to forget its roots, at least in the United States.

While many automobile manufacturers choose to skip the manual gear shifts and go with automatic transmission, Jaguar has implemented it in their upcoming model which is a welcome addition. The company has confirmed that they will soon be launching the 2017 edition of their SE in the United States. According to sources, we can confirm that there will be two different variants of the car available on launch. One of them will feature an automatic transmission system while the other one will be equipped with a manual transmission.

For drivers who opine that cars are experienced at their best with a manual gearbox, this could be the one to go for. Jaguar confirmed that the manual transmission will be available in the entry level variant of the 2017 Jaguar XE 25t. The sedan is powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine.

The brand already offers a manual gearbox system with their F-type models and it is good to see such a luxurious car company as Jaguar focusing on car enthusiasts rather than catering to the majority of the audience who wishes to dumb down powerful cars as much as possible for easy driving.

Meanwhile, in other news, Jaguar is one among many busiest companies which are gearing up to showcase their cars at the 2015 Los Angeles Auto Show. The brand has plenty of amazing cars to show, including the Range Rover Evoque convertible, the F-Pace, XE among other variants to the event. They are probably going to fill up the show floor like many other brands, but we just can’t confirm the one that is going to make heads turn in this grand event.
